Pope Kyrillos VI is widely recognized as a powerful intercessor and patron for students, known for guiding, comforting, and assisting youth through their studies and examinations.

Prayer Before Studying / Exams

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, One God. Amen.

My Lord Jesus Christ, I thank You because You taught me to take refuge in You in times of distress, saying: "Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me" (Psalm 50:15).

Now, O Lord, I ask You to bestow upon me wisdom, understanding, and clarity of mind. Enlighten my heart and thoughts so that I may comprehend what I study, and grant me a sound memory to retain it and recall it at the necessary time.

Remove from me all anxiety, fear, confusion, and despair. Fill my heart with Your heavenly peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant me favor in the eyes of my examiners, and guide my hands and thoughts so that I may write and answer accurately and peacefully.

Let my success be for the glory of Your holy Name, and may Your grace support my weakness.

Through the intercessions of the Mother of God, Saint Mary, and the prayers of our holy father, Pope Abba Kyrillos VI.

Amen.**
